DESCRIPTION:The Ellis Kell Winter Blues Camp teaches kids skills like improvisation and communication while introducing them to the blues.\n\n\nThe Ellis Kell Winter Blues Camp gives young musicians the opportunity to learn about the roots of American music – the blues. Musicians ages 8-18 are put into groups and work alongside professional musicians to work on skills like improvisation and communication while putting together a set for their performance at the end of the week. \nThis year the Ellis Kell Winter Blues Camp will take place 12-5pm December 27-30 with a performance at 7pm in the Redstone Room on December 30th. \nFor more information and questions about financial assistance contact Ben Schwind at bschwind@commonchordqc.org
