SUMMARY:The Gibson Brothers
DESCRIPTION:Presales end when doors open. Tickets available at the door pending availability. \nGenre: Bluegrass \nDoors: 5:30pm / Show: 7:00pmTickets: $20 in advance / $25 at the door  \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult) \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS \nThe Gibson Brothers \nThere’s a reason why Ricky Skaggs pulled Eric and Leigh Gibson off the stage at the Ryman two decades ago and offered to produce their debut record. The same thing that led David Ferguson and Grammy Award winning producer and Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach to co‑write and produce their 14th album “Mockingbird” (2018) and release it on his own label Easy Eye Sound alongside cultural icons such as Hank Williams Jr. and Dr. John: The Gibson Brothers are the real deal. They can pick. They can sing. And they can write a damn good country song. They’ve won about every bluegrass award you can name and released albums on almost every Premier Americana label you can think of including Sugar Hill and Rounder\, and\, if that’s not enough\, their songs have been recorded by bluegrass legends no less than Del McCoury. It’s a resume almost anybody in country music would be proud to have. But despite all of this\, The Gibson Brothers are not yet household names. Their latest album\, “Darkest Hour\,” produced by dobro master Jerry Douglas might just change that. \nAs soon as you hear Leigh singing with Alison Krauss [“I Feel The Same Way As You”] on the new project you realize that his voice is as good as anyone in music today. Add the brother harmony to that and they have something truly unique. While “Mockingbird” featured gorgeous production\, recreating the sound on stage was difficult. “We put together a little band to go out and try to recreate it\,” Eric told me\, but we couldn’t. We would have to have such a huge band to try to recreate that record\, but we did the best we could.” \nDouglas—who has won 14 Grammy awards and backed up everyone from Ray Charles to Paul Simon and George Jones—wanted to make a record they could actually play on the road. So he picked the best songs (out of dozens) and squirreled them away in Sound Emporium’s Studio B. But then the pandemic hit. “We did our last shows in March of 2020\,” Eric told me. “We were in Nashville the week everything was shutting down. It was surreal\, but Jerry was like\, ‘Guys\, the world’s going crazy. Let’s let this be our little cocoon.’ And we did. We cut all of the acoustic stuff and then went home and didn’t play any more gigs until things started opening. Then we went back and finished the record with Jerry in February of 2021.” \nThe result is arguably the strongest record The Gibson Brothers have ever made. The songs recorded in the first recording period featured Mike Barber (bass)\, Justin Moses (mandolin)\, Eamon McGloughlin (fiddle)\, and of course\, Jerry Douglas\, adding in John Gardner (drums)\, Guthrie Trapp (electric guitar)\, and Todd Parks (bass) for the final tracks\, “Darkest Hour” showcases just how easily Eric and Leigh move from what Dan Auerbach dubbed “country soul” (“I Go Driving”) to high octane bluegrass (“What a Difference A Day Makes” and “Dust”) with Douglas always keeping the spotlight on the songs themselves. “That’s what I love about those guys\,” Douglas told me\, “they are just great songwriters.” \nGrowing up on a dairy farm in northern New York and then traveling around the world in a bluegrass band has given them a unique vantage point on life\, and the songs on “Darkest Hour” are a testament to that. “Jerry wanted to hear everything we’d written\,” Eric told me\, “so we just sent him songs: brand new songs\, old songs\, there’s stuff on that record 20 years old that we never recorded. We wanted to see what he would do with us as singer‑songwriters. We respect him that much. Some of my favorite records are Jerry Douglas produced records. He didn’t disappoint.” \nIf The Gibson Brothers had stayed in Nashville in 1999 they might possibly be Grand Ole Opry members by now. At the very least they would be hit songwriters on Music Row. But\, just like their buddy Del McCoury\, they chose family over success (McCoury was in his 50s when he moved to Nashville and didn’t really see major success until he was approaching 60). All they need is someone to shine a light on them.Their talent level is well‑established\, the only producers they have ever worked with are Ricky Skaggs\, Dan Auerbach\, David Ferguson andJerry Douglas. I dare say not many musicians can stack up a list of producers that strong. For The Gibson Brothers though\, they just want to keep writing\, singing\, and standing on a stage. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online. SUMMARY:Sicksense
DESCRIPTION:Tickets go on sale Friday\, August 28 at 10am. \nPresales end when doors open. Tickets available at the door pending availability. \nGenre: Metal \nDoors: 5:30pm / Show: 7:00pmTickets: $15 in advance / $20 at the door  \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult) \nFeaturing…SicksenseFirmly GraspedSteel Chair \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS \nSICKSENSE is a modern metal force blending the aggression of metalcore\, the groove of nu metal\, and the precision of djent into a sound that is entirely their own. Fronted by the dynamic vocal duo of Vicky Psarakis and Robby J. Fonts\, the band has built a reputation for explosive chemistry\, genre-defying songwriting\, and an unapologetic DIY mentality that has fueled their rise from independent newcomers to one of heavy music’s most exciting emerging acts. \nOriginally formed in Montreal\, Canada\, SICKSENSE began taking shape after Vicky and Robby first met backstage at Heavy Montreal in 2015. At the time\, Vicky was fronting melodic death metal powerhouse THE AGONIST\, while Robby had recently served as the vocalist for rap metal pioneers STUCK MOJO. Their mutual love for heavy music with no creative boundaries sparked an immediate connection\, eventually leading to the creation of SICKSENSE.  \nThe band officially launched with their debut single “Make Believe” in 2021\, quickly turning heads with their intense vocal interplay\, emotionally charged songwriting\, and fearless fusion of styles. Their debut EP\, Kings Today (2022)\, and follow-up EP\, Fools Tomorrow (2023)\, established SICKSENSE as a rising name in the modern metal scene while earning praise from fans and creators alike\, including Tank The Tech\, who famously called them “the best nu metal band you never heard of.” \nBuilt around the contrast and chemistry between Vicky’s soaring melodies and vicious screams and Robby’s aggressive delivery\, rap-infused cadences\, and raw intensity\, SICKSENSE draw influence from bands such as LINKIN PARK\, LIMP BIZKIT\, SLIPKNOT\, KORN\, EVANESCENCE\, UNDEROATH\, WHITECHAPEL\, PERIPHERY\, and MONUMENTS while carving out a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Atmospheric keys\, cinematic sound design\, and layered production further elevate the band’s identity.  \nIn 2023\, SICKSENSE signed with Earache Records before releasing their debut full-length album\, Cross Me Twice\, in 2025. The album marked a major breakthrough for the band\, peaking at #10 on the UK Rock and Metal Album chart and #33 on the UK Independent chart. During this era\, the band toured extensively across the United States\, opening for ESCAPE THE FATE\, SNOT\, THE UNION UNDERGROUND\, SPINESHANK\, and CALVA LOUISE\, while also appearing at major festivals including Louder Than Life 2025.  \nNever content to stay stagnant\, SICKSENSE announced in 2026 that they would return to their independent roots for future releases\, embracing complete creative freedom as they enter a new era with a lineup featuring guitarist Jackson Snowden\, bassist Richard Regier\, and drummer Sam Neumann. The band worked closely with producer Joey Doherty on the EP\, continuing to push their sound into darker\, heavier\, and more experimental territory while staying true to the emotional honesty and intensity that define SICKSENSE.  \nOutside the band\, both Vicky and Robby have built impressive resumes across music\, gaming\, and entertainment. Vicky provided voice work for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and portrayed Ada Wong in Dead by Daylight\, while also contributing vocals to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Robby voiced Jonathan Byers in the original Stranger Things chapter for Dead by Daylight and even graduated from WWE Superstar Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Academy in 2019.  \nAt their core\, SICKSENSE represent resilience\, individuality\, and fearless self-expression. Whether through brutally honest lyrics\, high-energy live performances\, or their hands-on approach to every aspect of the band’s creative vision\, SICKSENSE continue to prove that heavy music has no boundaries when authenticity leads the way.  \nSICKSENSE is:Vicky Psarakis — vocals\, lyrics\, keysRobby J. SUMMARY:The Travelin' McCourys
DESCRIPTION:Presales end when doors open. Tickets available at the door pending availability. \nGenre: Bluegrass  \nDoors: 6:30pm / Show: 8:00pmTickets: $40 in advance / $50 at the door  \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult) \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS \nThe Travelin’ McCourys didn’t begin as an idea. They began as momentum. \nFor Ronnie McCoury (mandolin) and Rob McCoury (banjo)\, bluegrass was never abstract. It was lived. They grew up on the road\, on stage and inside the Del McCoury Band\, learning the music the only way it truly gets learned – by playing it in front of real audiences\, night after night\, with no safety net. \nThey learned discipline first. Then responsibility. Then restraint. \nFor years\, their role was clear: help carry one of the most respected bands in American music forward. Alongside Jason Carter\, Mike Bub and later\, Alan Bartram\, they helped define what the modern Del McCoury Band sounded like. It’s precise\, powerful\, deeply rooted and audience-first. \nBut history doesn’t stand still. And neither did they. \nBy the late 1990s and early 2000s\, bluegrass itself was moving into new rooms. Jam audiences were discovering acoustic music through curiosity rather than tradition. Festivals were changing. Set lengths were expanding. And improvisation was no longer a novelty\, it rather became an expectation. \nRonnie and Rob didn’t stumble into their shift. They watched it happen up close. \nThey saw what occurred when bluegrass met listeners who valued exploration. They saw how extended solos\, unexpected covers and risk-taking created a different kind of electricity. And they began asking a quiet\, necessary question: Where does this music go when the rules loosen? \nThe answer didn’t belong within the Del McCoury Band format. So they didn’t force it there. \nInstead\, it emerged naturally; after hours\, late at night and eventually on its own terms. \nWhat began informally at festivals slowly took shape into something far more defined. Joined by Alan Bartram (bass) and Cody Kilby (guitar)\, Ronnie and Rob began playing music that stretched further than tradition usually allowed. Songs opened up. Setlists became flexible. Improvisation stopped being occasional and became structural. \nAnd it wasn’t about rebellion. It was about following the music where it wanted to go. \nWhen DelFest launched\, it became the ideal proving ground. The festival’s design of equal parts reverence and forward motion created a space where experimentation felt earned\, not indulgent. Late-night sets turned into focal points. Word spread. Audiences leaned in. \nWhat had started quietly now had gravity. \nThe Travelin’ McCourys began to solidify as a band built for that moment – rooted in bluegrass tradition\, but fluent in the language of improvisation. The connections that had surrounded the McCoury family for years deepened into real collaborations. \nFrom onstage sit-ins and shared history with Phish to an ongoing relationship with Jamgrass pioneers\, String Cheese Incident\, performances with the likes of Warren Haynes\, Lukas Nelson\, Sierra Ferrell as well as traditionalists like Marty Stuart\, David Grisman and more\, plus a fully realized Grateful Ball performance\, reimagining the Grateful Dead catalog through bluegrass. \nThe Grateful Ball wasn’t a side idea either\, it clarified the band’s identity. These weren’t tributes or novelty sets\, but rather translations taking deeply familiar material and reshaping it with precision\, improv and deep trust. \nAt the core of the band is musicianship at the highest level. Every founding member of the Travelin’ McCourys has earned at least one International Bluegrass Music Association Award for his instrument. This project is built on concept and ability. \nWhen Christian Ward joined on fiddle\, the band’s range expanded again. His modern\, dynamic approach added lift\, urgency and a sharper edge\, pushing the sound further into its own territory. \nThe band’s self-titled debut album captured what audiences already understood: this wasn’t a side chapter or a satellite project. It was a fully formed band with a clear voice that draws from Bill Monroe and Del McCoury\, and also from rock dynamics\, jazz instincts and the freedom of improvisational music. \n“A good song is a good song\,” Ronnie says. “We just like finding new ways to play them.” \nThat philosophy defines the Travelin’ McCourys on stage. Tight harmonies. Fearless solos. Setlists that breathe. A sense that each night is singular and unrepeatable. \nPlaced alongside the Del McCoury Band\, the relationship becomes clear. It’s not a succession\, not a shadow\, but an expansion. One band built the architecture. The other explores its outer edges. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online. SUMMARY:Family Groove Company
DESCRIPTION:After an 8-year hiatus from the Redstone Room stage\, Family Groove Company returns to play the brand new\, refreshed venue!  \nPresales end when doors open. Tickets available at the door pending availability. \n Genre: Jazz/Rock \n Doors: 6:30pm / Show: 8:00pmTickets: $20 in advance / $25 at the door  \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult) \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS \nFamily Groove Company integrates the groove sensibility developed by funk/jazz crossover artists like Herbie Hancock and Medeski\, Martin\, and Wood with thoughtful\, tight songwriting that takes cues from the likes of Steely Dan and the Beatles. The result? An infectious sound the band calls “groove informed jazz/rock.” Defined by rich analog keyboards\, tight crunchy guitar\, and a pocket-based rhythm section\, FGC brings a fresh sound that bends genres and dares the listener not to dance. \nThe band got its start in Los Angeles\, where the four members met in music school\, and then planted its roots in Chicago in late 2002. In the span of their career\, FGC has played over 1\,000 shows from coast to coast\, logging stage time in more than 350 venues in 34 states. \nNotable performances include 19 straight years at Summer Camp Festival in Illinois\, rocking large Chicago stages like the Riviera Theater and Vic Theatre\, and playing alongside heavyweights like Victor Wooten\, moe.\, Umphrey’s McGee\, and Lotus. The band’s discography includes five full length albums: Reachin’\, The Charmer\, Live in Chicago\, Models and Metrics\, and Through with Tomorrow. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online. The Canadian vocalist\, guitarist\, songwriter and producer wails with all the force of a hurricane in the Mississippi Delta and enough fret-burning fireworks to leave his strings in flames. Over the years\, he’s toppled the Billboard Blues Chart at #1\, earned the endorsement of legends such as B.B. King\, tallied tens of millions of streams\, and packed shows on multiple continents. In April 2025\, Anthony Gomes is back with his much-anticipated 14th studio album\, Praise the Loud\, set for release on Rat Pak Records. \n “I’ve learned how to embrace my voice as a guitarist and as a singer\,” he states. “I understand who I am\, and I use my strengths to my advantage. I have a blues soul and a rock ‘n’ roll heart. I love to jump back and forth between both with a modern day approach. When I play rock\, it’s got a little more dust on it.” \nBorn and raised in Toronto\, Ontario\, he fell in love with music as a kid\, listening to everyone from Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix to Jeff Beck and Eddie Van Halen. At 14 years old\, Anthony gravitated to the guitar and his relationship with the instrument was born. After grinding it out\, his chops caught the attention of B.B. King’s bus driver at a jam night. Blown away\, the driver introduced him to B.B. who invited him to open up a string of tour dates in 2005. Gaining invaluable knowledge from “The King\,” he went on to share the stage with the likes of Buddy Guy\, Robert Plant\, Joe Bonamassa\, Heart\, Sammy Hagar\, Kenny Wayne Shepherd\, and more. Along the way\, his concert attendees have included Academy® Award winner Morgan Freeman\, John Goodman\, and Vince Vaughn as well as Eric Clapton\, to name a few. \n2022’s High Voltage Blues vaulted to #1 on the iTunes Top Blues Albums Chart\, #1 on Amazon Music’s New Release Blues Chart and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues chart. It remained on the Billboard Blues chart for 58 consecutive weeks\, landing on ‘Billboard’s Top 15 Blues Albums of the Year’ for both 2023 and 2024. \nMeanwhile\, Total Guitar listed Gomes as ‘One of the 100 Greatest Blues Guitarists of All Time’ in 2024. Guitar World readers voted him one of “The 30 Best Blues Guitarists in the World Today” in 2019\, and the publication noted\, “Gomes is another power player who is at his best when his gear is in the scorched earth between blues and rock.” \nAnthony’s latest release\, 2025’s Praise the Loud\, delivers 12 fresh studio tracks that showcase Anthony’s musical evolution while staying true to the no-holds-barred sound that has earned him a global fanbase. \nReflecting on the new album\, Anthony shares\, “On Praise the Loud\, we pushed our musical boundaries in every direction. We wanted it to rock harder than anything we’ve done before\, but at the same time\, we wanted it to have a deeper\, more soulful blues feel. When people ask me what I sound like\, I say\, ‘If B.B. King was in AC/DC\, that’s what it would be’. That’s Praise The Loud in a nutshell.” \nGomes cites the track ‘Rock & Roll Bluesman’ as the thesis of the album. “My favorite line on the album comes from the song ‘Rock & Roll Bluesman’: ‘I don’t care if they love or hate us\, gonna turn it up so they won’t forget us.’ That lyric captures the spirit of the album—declaring that we’re playing blues rock on our own terms\, no matter what.” \nFrom the powerful rhythms of the album opener “Praise the Loud” to the ZZ Top-inspired groove of “Netflix & Chill\,” Anthony tackles a range of emotions and topics with his signature blend of layered harmonies\, infectious rhythms\, and blues-infused grooves. Tracks like “Meet My Maker\,” “Black Diamond Heavy\,” and “Electric Blues Crusade” highlight his ability to stretch his creative boundaries and expand his lyrical scope\, while songs like “Love Song Gone Wrong” and “In the Name of the Blues” showcase his unmistakable blues guitar mastery. Produced by Peter Carson/Anthony Gomes and mixed by Chris Collier\, Praise the Loud packs the punch and energy fans have come to expect from this world-class blues artist. \nIn the end\, Anthony Gomes is just the kind of guitar hero we need for today. \n “I still believe in a world of guitar heroes\,” he smiles. “I strive for a world where you don’t have to be 19 years old to sell a lot of records and tickets and to make a statement. I’m one of those people who doesn’t think rock\, or the blues is dead. I’m looking for fresh ways to bring them together. I’m at the table rolling the dice all in the name of blues and rock ‘n’ roll. I know there’s never been a more exciting time for music\, and I’m here for the journey.” \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online.
