SUMMARY:Sicksense
DESCRIPTION:Tickets go on sale Friday\, August 28 at 10am. \nPresales end when doors open. Tickets available at the door pending availability. \nGenre: Metal \nDoors: 5:30pm / Show: 7:00pmTickets: $15 in advance / $20 at the door  \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult) \nFeaturing…SicksenseFirmly GraspedSteel Chair \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS \nSICKSENSE is a modern metal force blending the aggression of metalcore\, the groove of nu metal\, and the precision of djent into a sound that is entirely their own. Fronted by the dynamic vocal duo of Vicky Psarakis and Robby J. Fonts\, the band has built a reputation for explosive chemistry\, genre-defying songwriting\, and an unapologetic DIY mentality that has fueled their rise from independent newcomers to one of heavy music’s most exciting emerging acts. \nOriginally formed in Montreal\, Canada\, SICKSENSE began taking shape after Vicky and Robby first met backstage at Heavy Montreal in 2015. At the time\, Vicky was fronting melodic death metal powerhouse THE AGONIST\, while Robby had recently served as the vocalist for rap metal pioneers STUCK MOJO. Their mutual love for heavy music with no creative boundaries sparked an immediate connection\, eventually leading to the creation of SICKSENSE.  \nThe band officially launched with their debut single “Make Believe” in 2021\, quickly turning heads with their intense vocal interplay\, emotionally charged songwriting\, and fearless fusion of styles. Their debut EP\, Kings Today (2022)\, and follow-up EP\, Fools Tomorrow (2023)\, established SICKSENSE as a rising name in the modern metal scene while earning praise from fans and creators alike\, including Tank The Tech\, who famously called them “the best nu metal band you never heard of.” \nBuilt around the contrast and chemistry between Vicky’s soaring melodies and vicious screams and Robby’s aggressive delivery\, rap-infused cadences\, and raw intensity\, SICKSENSE draw influence from bands such as LINKIN PARK\, LIMP BIZKIT\, SLIPKNOT\, KORN\, EVANESCENCE\, UNDEROATH\, WHITECHAPEL\, PERIPHERY\, and MONUMENTS while carving out a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Atmospheric keys\, cinematic sound design\, and layered production further elevate the band’s identity.  \nIn 2023\, SICKSENSE signed with Earache Records before releasing their debut full-length album\, Cross Me Twice\, in 2025. The album marked a major breakthrough for the band\, peaking at #10 on the UK Rock and Metal Album chart and #33 on the UK Independent chart. During this era\, the band toured extensively across the United States\, opening for ESCAPE THE FATE\, SNOT\, THE UNION UNDERGROUND\, SPINESHANK\, and CALVA LOUISE\, while also appearing at major festivals including Louder Than Life 2025.  \nNever content to stay stagnant\, SICKSENSE announced in 2026 that they would return to their independent roots for future releases\, embracing complete creative freedom as they enter a new era with a lineup featuring guitarist Jackson Snowden\, bassist Richard Regier\, and drummer Sam Neumann. The band worked closely with producer Joey Doherty on the EP\, continuing to push their sound into darker\, heavier\, and more experimental territory while staying true to the emotional honesty and intensity that define SICKSENSE.  \nOutside the band\, both Vicky and Robby have built impressive resumes across music\, gaming\, and entertainment. Vicky provided voice work for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and portrayed Ada Wong in Dead by Daylight\, while also contributing vocals to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Robby voiced Jonathan Byers in the original Stranger Things chapter for Dead by Daylight and even graduated from WWE Superstar Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Academy in 2019.  \nAt their core\, SICKSENSE represent resilience\, individuality\, and fearless self-expression. Whether through brutally honest lyrics\, high-energy live performances\, or their hands-on approach to every aspect of the band’s creative vision\, SICKSENSE continue to prove that heavy music has no boundaries when authenticity leads the way.  \nSICKSENSE is:Vicky Psarakis — vocals\, lyrics\, keysRobby J. SUMMARY:Family Groove Company
DESCRIPTION:After an 8-year hiatus from the Redstone Room stage\, Family Groove Company returns to play the brand new\, refreshed venue!  \nPresales end when doors open. Tickets available at the door pending availability. \n Genre: Jazz/Rock \n Doors: 6:30pm / Show: 8:00pmTickets: $20 in advance / $25 at the door  \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult) \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS \nFamily Groove Company integrates the groove sensibility developed by funk/jazz crossover artists like Herbie Hancock and Medeski\, Martin\, and Wood with thoughtful\, tight songwriting that takes cues from the likes of Steely Dan and the Beatles. The result? An infectious sound the band calls “groove informed jazz/rock.” Defined by rich analog keyboards\, tight crunchy guitar\, and a pocket-based rhythm section\, FGC brings a fresh sound that bends genres and dares the listener not to dance. \nThe band got its start in Los Angeles\, where the four members met in music school\, and then planted its roots in Chicago in late 2002. In the span of their career\, FGC has played over 1\,000 shows from coast to coast\, logging stage time in more than 350 venues in 34 states. \nNotable performances include 19 straight years at Summer Camp Festival in Illinois\, rocking large Chicago stages like the Riviera Theater and Vic Theatre\, and playing alongside heavyweights like Victor Wooten\, moe.\, Umphrey’s McGee\, and Lotus. The band’s discography includes five full length albums: Reachin’\, The Charmer\, Live in Chicago\, Models and Metrics\, and Through with Tomorrow. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online. SUMMARY:Anthony Gomes
DESCRIPTION:Anthony Gomes “PRAISE THE LOUD” World Tour \nPresales end when doors open. Tickets available at the door pending availability.  \nGenre: Blues Rock  \nDoors: 6:30pm / Show: 8:00pmTickets: $35 in advance / $40 at the door  \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult) \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTIST \nWith a guitar slung over his shoulder and the amps turned up full tilt\, Anthony Gomes electrifies blues and rock at a 21st century crossroads of his own. The Canadian vocalist\, guitarist\, songwriter and producer wails with all the force of a hurricane in the Mississippi Delta and enough fret-burning fireworks to leave his strings in flames. Over the years\, he’s toppled the Billboard Blues Chart at #1\, earned the endorsement of legends such as B.B. King\, tallied tens of millions of streams\, and packed shows on multiple continents. In April 2025\, Anthony Gomes is back with his much-anticipated 14th studio album\, Praise the Loud\, set for release on Rat Pak Records. \n “I’ve learned how to embrace my voice as a guitarist and as a singer\,” he states. “I understand who I am\, and I use my strengths to my advantage. I have a blues soul and a rock ‘n’ roll heart. I love to jump back and forth between both with a modern day approach. When I play rock\, it’s got a little more dust on it.” \nBorn and raised in Toronto\, Ontario\, he fell in love with music as a kid\, listening to everyone from Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix to Jeff Beck and Eddie Van Halen. At 14 years old\, Anthony gravitated to the guitar and his relationship with the instrument was born. After grinding it out\, his chops caught the attention of B.B. King’s bus driver at a jam night. Blown away\, the driver introduced him to B.B. who invited him to open up a string of tour dates in 2005. Gaining invaluable knowledge from “The King\,” he went on to share the stage with the likes of Buddy Guy\, Robert Plant\, Joe Bonamassa\, Heart\, Sammy Hagar\, Kenny Wayne Shepherd\, and more. Along the way\, his concert attendees have included Academy® Award winner Morgan Freeman\, John Goodman\, and Vince Vaughn as well as Eric Clapton\, to name a few. \n2022’s High Voltage Blues vaulted to #1 on the iTunes Top Blues Albums Chart\, #1 on Amazon Music’s New Release Blues Chart and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues chart. It remained on the Billboard Blues chart for 58 consecutive weeks\, landing on ‘Billboard’s Top 15 Blues Albums of the Year’ for both 2023 and 2024. \nMeanwhile\, Total Guitar listed Gomes as ‘One of the 100 Greatest Blues Guitarists of All Time’ in 2024. Guitar World readers voted him one of “The 30 Best Blues Guitarists in the World Today” in 2019\, and the publication noted\, “Gomes is another power player who is at his best when his gear is in the scorched earth between blues and rock.” \nAnthony’s latest release\, 2025’s Praise the Loud\, delivers 12 fresh studio tracks that showcase Anthony’s musical evolution while staying true to the no-holds-barred sound that has earned him a global fanbase. \nReflecting on the new album\, Anthony shares\, “On Praise the Loud\, we pushed our musical boundaries in every direction. We wanted it to rock harder than anything we’ve done before\, but at the same time\, we wanted it to have a deeper\, more soulful blues feel. When people ask me what I sound like\, I say\, ‘If B.B. King was in AC/DC\, that’s what it would be’. That’s Praise The Loud in a nutshell.” \nGomes cites the track ‘Rock & Roll Bluesman’ as the thesis of the album. “My favorite line on the album comes from the song ‘Rock & Roll Bluesman’: ‘I don’t care if they love or hate us\, gonna turn it up so they won’t forget us.’ That lyric captures the spirit of the album—declaring that we’re playing blues rock on our own terms\, no matter what.” \nFrom the powerful rhythms of the album opener “Praise the Loud” to the ZZ Top-inspired groove of “Netflix & Chill\,” Anthony tackles a range of emotions and topics with his signature blend of layered harmonies\, infectious rhythms\, and blues-infused grooves. Tracks like “Meet My Maker\,” “Black Diamond Heavy\,” and “Electric Blues Crusade” highlight his ability to stretch his creative boundaries and expand his lyrical scope\, while songs like “Love Song Gone Wrong” and “In the Name of the Blues” showcase his unmistakable blues guitar mastery. Produced by Peter Carson/Anthony Gomes and mixed by Chris Collier\, Praise the Loud packs the punch and energy fans have come to expect from this world-class blues artist. \nIn the end\, Anthony Gomes is just the kind of guitar hero we need for today. \n “I still believe in a world of guitar heroes\,” he smiles. “I strive for a world where you don’t have to be 19 years old to sell a lot of records and tickets and to make a statement. I’m one of those people who doesn’t think rock\, or the blues is dead. I’m looking for fresh ways to bring them together. I’m at the table rolling the dice all in the name of blues and rock ‘n’ roll. I know there’s never been a more exciting time for music\, and I’m here for the journey.” \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online.
