Fronted by the dynamic vocal duo of Vicky Psarakis and Robby J. Fonts\, the band has built a reputation for explosive chemistry\, genre-defying songwriting\, and an unapologetic DIY mentality that has fueled their rise from independent newcomers to one of heavy music’s most exciting emerging acts. \nOriginally formed in Montreal\, Canada\, SICKSENSE began taking shape after Vicky and Robby first met backstage at Heavy Montreal in 2015. At the time\, Vicky was fronting melodic death metal powerhouse THE AGONIST\, while Robby had recently served as the vocalist for rap metal pioneers STUCK MOJO. Their mutual love for heavy music with no creative boundaries sparked an immediate connection\, eventually leading to the creation of SICKSENSE.  \nThe band officially launched with their debut single “Make Believe” in 2021\, quickly turning heads with their intense vocal interplay\, emotionally charged songwriting\, and fearless fusion of styles. Their debut EP\, Kings Today (2022)\, and follow-up EP\, Fools Tomorrow (2023)\, established SICKSENSE as a rising name in the modern metal scene while earning praise from fans and creators alike\, including Tank The Tech\, who famously called them “the best nu metal band you never heard of.” \nBuilt around the contrast and chemistry between Vicky’s soaring melodies and vicious screams and Robby’s aggressive delivery\, rap-infused cadences\, and raw intensity\, SICKSENSE draw influence from bands such as LINKIN PARK\, LIMP BIZKIT\, SLIPKNOT\, KORN\, EVANESCENCE\, UNDEROATH\, WHITECHAPEL\, PERIPHERY\, and MONUMENTS while carving out a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Atmospheric keys\, cinematic sound design\, and layered production further elevate the band’s identity.  \nIn 2023\, SICKSENSE signed with Earache Records before releasing their debut full-length album\, Cross Me Twice\, in 2025. The album marked a major breakthrough for the band\, peaking at #10 on the UK Rock and Metal Album chart and #33 on the UK Independent chart. During this era\, the band toured extensively across the United States\, opening for ESCAPE THE FATE\, SNOT\, THE UNION UNDERGROUND\, SPINESHANK\, and CALVA LOUISE\, while also appearing at major festivals including Louder Than Life 2025.  \nNever content to stay stagnant\, SICKSENSE announced in 2026 that they would return to their independent roots for future releases\, embracing complete creative freedom as they enter a new era with a lineup featuring guitarist Jackson Snowden\, bassist Richard Regier\, and drummer Sam Neumann. The band worked closely with producer Joey Doherty on the EP\, continuing to push their sound into darker\, heavier\, and more experimental territory while staying true to the emotional honesty and intensity that define SICKSENSE.  \nOutside the band\, both Vicky and Robby have built impressive resumes across music\, gaming\, and entertainment. Vicky provided voice work for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and portrayed Ada Wong in Dead by Daylight\, while also contributing vocals to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Robby voiced Jonathan Byers in the original Stranger Things chapter for Dead by Daylight and even graduated from WWE Superstar Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Academy in 2019.  \nAt their core\, SICKSENSE represent resilience\, individuality\, and fearless self-expression. Whether through brutally honest lyrics\, high-energy live performances\, or their hands-on approach to every aspect of the band’s creative vision\, SICKSENSE continue to prove that heavy music has no boundaries when authenticity leads the way.  \nSICKSENSE is:Vicky Psarakis — vocals\, lyrics\, keysRobby J. SUMMARY:The Travelin' McCourys
DESCRIPTION:Presales end when doors open. Tickets available at the door pending availability. \nGenre: Bluegrass  \nDoors: 6:30pm / Show: 8:00pmTickets: $40 in advance / $50 at the door  \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult) \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS \nThe Travelin’ McCourys didn’t begin as an idea. They began as momentum. \nFor Ronnie McCoury (mandolin) and Rob McCoury (banjo)\, bluegrass was never abstract. It was lived. They grew up on the road\, on stage and inside the Del McCoury Band\, learning the music the only way it truly gets learned – by playing it in front of real audiences\, night after night\, with no safety net. \nThey learned discipline first. Then responsibility. Then restraint. \nFor years\, their role was clear: help carry one of the most respected bands in American music forward. Alongside Jason Carter\, Mike Bub and later\, Alan Bartram\, they helped define what the modern Del McCoury Band sounded like. It’s precise\, powerful\, deeply rooted and audience-first. \nBut history doesn’t stand still. And neither did they. \nBy the late 1990s and early 2000s\, bluegrass itself was moving into new rooms. Jam audiences were discovering acoustic music through curiosity rather than tradition. Festivals were changing. Set lengths were expanding. And improvisation was no longer a novelty\, it rather became an expectation. \nRonnie and Rob didn’t stumble into their shift. They watched it happen up close. \nThey saw what occurred when bluegrass met listeners who valued exploration. They saw how extended solos\, unexpected covers and risk-taking created a different kind of electricity. And they began asking a quiet\, necessary question: Where does this music go when the rules loosen? \nThe answer didn’t belong within the Del McCoury Band format. So they didn’t force it there. \nInstead\, it emerged naturally; after hours\, late at night and eventually on its own terms. \nWhat began informally at festivals slowly took shape into something far more defined. Joined by Alan Bartram (bass) and Cody Kilby (guitar)\, Ronnie and Rob began playing music that stretched further than tradition usually allowed. Songs opened up. Setlists became flexible. Improvisation stopped being occasional and became structural. \nAnd it wasn’t about rebellion. It was about following the music where it wanted to go. \nWhen DelFest launched\, it became the ideal proving ground. The festival’s design of equal parts reverence and forward motion created a space where experimentation felt earned\, not indulgent. Late-night sets turned into focal points. Word spread. Audiences leaned in. \nWhat had started quietly now had gravity. \nThe Travelin’ McCourys began to solidify as a band built for that moment – rooted in bluegrass tradition\, but fluent in the language of improvisation. The connections that had surrounded the McCoury family for years deepened into real collaborations. \nFrom onstage sit-ins and shared history with Phish to an ongoing relationship with Jamgrass pioneers\, String Cheese Incident\, performances with the likes of Warren Haynes\, Lukas Nelson\, Sierra Ferrell as well as traditionalists like Marty Stuart\, David Grisman and more\, plus a fully realized Grateful Ball performance\, reimagining the Grateful Dead catalog through bluegrass. \nThe Grateful Ball wasn’t a side idea either\, it clarified the band’s identity. These weren’t tributes or novelty sets\, but rather translations taking deeply familiar material and reshaping it with precision\, improv and deep trust. \nAt the core of the band is musicianship at the highest level. Every founding member of the Travelin’ McCourys has earned at least one International Bluegrass Music Association Award for his instrument. This project is built on concept and ability. \nWhen Christian Ward joined on fiddle\, the band’s range expanded again. His modern\, dynamic approach added lift\, urgency and a sharper edge\, pushing the sound further into its own territory. \nThe band’s self-titled debut album captured what audiences already understood: this wasn’t a side chapter or a satellite project. It was a fully formed band with a clear voice that draws from Bill Monroe and Del McCoury\, and also from rock dynamics\, jazz instincts and the freedom of improvisational music. \n“A good song is a good song\,” Ronnie says. “We just like finding new ways to play them.” \nThat philosophy defines the Travelin’ McCourys on stage. Tight harmonies. Fearless solos. Setlists that breathe. A sense that each night is singular and unrepeatable. \nPlaced alongside the Del McCoury Band\, the relationship becomes clear. It’s not a succession\, not a shadow\, but an expansion. One band built the architecture. The other explores its outer edges. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online.
