SUMMARY:Larry Keel's Electric Larry Land
DESCRIPTION:Genre: Prog Rock / Progressive Country / Americana / Psychedelia \nDoors: 7:00pm / Show: 8:00pmTickets: $20 in advance / $25 at the door  \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult)  \nHeadliner: Larry Keel’s Electric Larry LandSupporting Artist: To be announced \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS \nLarry Keel is an award-winning innovative flatpicking guitarist and singer/songwriter hailing from Appalachia and currently residing in historic Lexington\, VA. Raised in a musical family steeped in the mountain culture of the region\, Keel began from an early age to forge a distinctive sound\, taking bluegrass and classic country music and infusing those styles with a rock edge and elements of improvisational jazz. With the acoustic guitar Keel has brought the flatpicking form to its highest level of sophistication and sonic power with his muscular yet refined style of playing. As a songwriter with a catalog of nearly 100 original compositions\, Keel integrates raw honesty and charming grit to create music filled with reality\, imagination\, imagery and vibe. He has appeared on over 20 albums\, 12 of which he produced\, and has written songs that have been recorded and performed by distinguished artists including Grammy-award winners Del McCoury and The Infamous Stringdusters. \nHe has performed at iconic venues including Tokyo Disney\, Carnegie Hall\, Town Hall NYC\, Red Rocks Amphitheater\, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass\, LOCKN\, High Sierra Music\, Bonnaroo\, Del Fest\, Hulaween\, and countless more. He has inspired and merged creative forces with some of the greatest artists in modern roots music such as Tyler Childers\, Billy Strings\, Greensky Bluegrass\, Keller Williams and Sam Bush\, to name a few. Keel is revered by critics at Relix\, JamBase\, Bluegrass Today\, No Depression\, AXS\, and Rolling Stone\, who dub him “one of the finest flatpickers around” and describe his unparalleled live performance “taking songs up a notch with psychedelic hillbilly shredding.” While C-ville Weekly claims\, “Keel is doing for bluegrass what Hendrix did for rock\, what Miles did for jazz- exploring the unchartered possibilities\, defying the limitations of a deeply established musical form.” \nThe entergetic and interstellar project\, “Electric Larry Land” presents Keel’s simultaneously gritty and suave original music applied to an electric format\, creating what he calls a “sonic groove-and-vibe machine”. With this unit\, Keel gives rein to his innate drive to expand his songs and playing style with this high-powered\, highly creative and highly accomplished 4-piece band comprised of electric guitar\, acoustic guitar\, bass and drums. It’s dynamic Acoustic Rock at its finest. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online. SUMMARY:JD Simo & Luther Dickinson
DESCRIPTION:JD Simo & Luther Dickinson – Do The Rump! Tour \nGenre: Blues / Roots \nDoors: 7:00pm / Show: 8:00pmTickets: $20 in advance / $22 at the doorPresales end when doors open. Tickets available at the door pending availability. \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. Table reservations available.Age Restriction: All Ages (Under 19 must be accompanied by an adult) \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \nABOUT THE ARTISTS \nTwo of the most electrifying forces in modern roots music—Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars\, The Black Crowes) and JD Simo (Chris Isaak\, Jack White\, Beyoncé\, Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis)—join together for a soul-shaking trio with powerhouse drummer Adam Abrashoff. Their chemistry is deep\, their grooves are dirty\, and their shows are a masterclass in high-octane\, roots-infused blues. \nLuther\, a four-time Grammy nominee\, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of North Mississippi Allstars and a brand-new album—proving his commitment to pushing Hill Country blues forward. JD\, meanwhile\, has built a career on fearless reinvention. In addition to touring with Chris Isaak\, he’s a key creative on the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me from Nowhere (directed by Crazy Heart’s Scott Cooper)\, where he worked closely with both Bruce and Scott\, supervised the music script\, coached lead actor Jeremy Allen White (The Bear)\, and contributed heavily to the film’s score and soundtrack. \nTheir collaborative album Do The Rump! Has been making waves\, with lead single “Come On” hitting #1 on SiriusXM Bluesville. The sound is raw\, hypnotic\, and thrillingly alive—equal parts Hill Country trance\, psych-soul\, and electrified jam. \nThese trio shows are rare. The music is greasy. And this is your chance to feel it live. \n  \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online. Tickets available at the door pending availability. \nSeating: General admission. No guaranteed seating. It grows\, it matures\, and it changes with a sentient consciousness and with whims of its own. And just like music\, the Vermont-based singer\, songwriter\, guitarist\, and co-founder of rock outfit Twiddle continues to evolve\, using his gift as one of the strongest modern-day songwriters\, guitarists and performers to bring healing vibes and unforgettable songs to the world. \nHis 2022 record\, Effection [released via Ineffable Records]\, was a ten-track body of work that intertwines reggae spirit\, fluid soundscape architecture\, and invigorating mantras meant to be chanted aloud in a packed venue. With support from reggae and roots rock mainstays like Iration\, Chadwick Stokes (of Dispatch)\, The Movement\, The Elovaters\, Jacob Hemphill (of SOJA)\, and Iya Terra\, Effection effectively brought Mihali into the reggae spotlight\, landing him on tour with SOJA and G. Love & Special Sauce in 2024. \nContinually growing and transforming with his music\, Mihali has released his 3rd studio record\, Before The Dream [May 2\, 2025 via Ineffable Records]\, a 14-track journey that delves into his personal psyche and delivers messages about life and vibes meant for a day on the beach or a smoke sesh with friends. Before The Dream once again features numerous huge names in the worlds of reggae\, rock and pop music including Little Stranger\, Tropidelic\, Lily Fangz\, G. Love\, Brett Dennen\, Andy Frasco\, Seven Suns\, Satsang\, and Moon Taxi\, who’s guitarist/producer Spencer Thomson also produced the record (alongside contributions from DENM and Aurorawave’s Nathan Feinstein). \nWith a constant touring schedule and new music rolling out on a monthly basis – with more sure to come even after his new record – Mihali continues to expand his reach\, touching the hearts and souls of anyone who takes the time to listen. \nLINKS: \nFACEBOOK \nINSTAGRAM \nYOUTUBE \nTIKTOK \nWEBSITE \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n COMMON CHORD POLICIES: \nTICKETS: Advance tickets are only available online. SUMMARY:Bix Jazz Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:THE 55TH BIX JAZZ FESTIVALAn Emerald AnniversaryJuly 30 through August 1\, 2026At Rhythm City Casino in Davenport\, Iowa \nThe 2026 Festival celebrates Bix’s collaborations with Jean Goldkette. This year features special sets\, the return of dinner breaks\, reserved table seating options\, the exciting special events you know and love\, and a brand-new special event to be announced! \nScroll down to see the Festival schedule and additional information. \nClick here to visit the Festival page for the complete band schedule\, special event details\, hotel booking information\, and more. \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nOne of our main goals is introducing Bix’s music to new listeners and building a larger audience. We are striving to keep ticket prices as low as possible for newcomers to try out the Festival. Special thanks go out to our members\, donors\, and sponsors who aid in this effort! \nABOUT TICKET TYPES AND PRESALES:Presales are available for day passes\, all session passes\, and VIP passes.Individual session passes will return this year! These will only be available at the door for each session. No presales are available for individual session passes. Individual session passes will be available pending venue capacity and availability. \nTHE DINNER BREAK IS BACK!We heard your feedback\, and it’s clear – you don’t want to miss one minute of music! So we’ve returned to having a dinner break on Friday and Saturday. See below for the session schedules. \nWHAT’S THE VIP PASS? The VIP Pass includes all the perks – including access to the hospitality room and reserved seating. (Think of it as the former “All Events Pass” and more!) For a more affordable option\, the All Session Pass has now been reduced to $155. In order to balance the remaining costs\, the VIP Pass creates an elevated experience for those who can afford it\, while keeping the Festival accessible for those who might not be able to. \nNEW THIS YEAR: RESERVED TABLE SEATINGMany of you requested table seating\, so we’ve created a new add-on option. There will still be plenty of rows of chairs with great views\, but now we will also have tables for your comfort. No more holding your drink in one hand and cake in the other! We are offering this reserved seating with an additional charge to allow us to keep regular ticket prices as low as possible. \nReserved seating is at large tables that seat 8-10 attendees. For those that add on reserved seating\, you’ll find a name placard at the table (based on your location request) that holds your seat the entire time. \nNon-reserved seating is available – as usual – in rows of chairs. \nHow to Reserve: After selecting a ticket type that includes reserved seating\, you’ll have the opportunity to note what area of the room you’d like to be in (up front\, middle\, back\, etc.). Seating choices are first-come\, first-served. We will do our best to seat you in your preferred area! If you would like to sit with someone else\, please note that as well (i.e. “At Jane Doe’s table”). \n  \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nFESTIVAL SCHEDULE: \nThursday\, July 3012pm-2pm: NEW special event!
