The quartet Dopapod—Eli Winderman [keys, vocals], Rob Compa [guitar, vocals], Chuck Jones [bass], and Neal “Fro” Evans [drums]—present albums as experiences meant to be shared out of your speakers and on stage. Traversing time travel, palindromic labyrinths, and binary pairs in a greater cohesive mystery, Dopapod’s latest self-titled album ties the conceptual ends of the group’s discography, while charting a path forward.
The group’s hypnotic hybrid of funk, rock, jazz, bluegrass, and electronica has packed shows coast-to-coast, and earned acclaim from Rolling Stone, Guitar World, Glide Magazine, and more, while reeling in millions of streams online. Their immersive, expansive vision as a group continues to conjure alchemy nearly fifteen years into their journey as they tour and record through 2023.

Dizgo redefines the live experience by blending jamtronica with funk, deep-groove soul, and psychedelic rock, taking the audience on a musical journey that includes intricate compositions and extended improvisation. The result is something both danceable and introspective: soulful vocals, interweaving analog synths and shredding guitar all of which join forces under the banner of Dizgo.
The band has played stand-out performances at festivals such as Peach Music Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival, Resonance Music Festival, Werk Out Music Festival, Sonic Bloom Music Festival, and much more and has supported acts such as Goose, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Papadosio, The Main Squeeze, Aqueous, Lespecial, and more.
Supporting Artist: THE TEXTURES
Based out of the Quad Cities Area, The Textures are a six-piece band including Kelsey Lillion [Vocals], Justin Behn [Guitar], Ben Kays [Guitar], Justin “Fish” Fisher [Bass], Logan “Frog” Farber [Keyboards], and Kyle Goldsmith [Drums]. Their sound can be described as a convergence of different influences, hearkening back to the eras of psychedelia, funk, disco, rock n’ roll, soul, and much more.
The band’s mission is to craft diverse songs, both written and improvisational, which break the boundaries that separate musical genres. The 2020 release of their debut album, Self Textured, gave the group a taste for sharing their original music. Releasing their second studio album, Shapes and Colors in May of 2023, with their 3rd album on the way and set to release in 2024, all while gearing up for another summer of live performances!

*Tickets*
Advance tickets are only available online. Tickets may be purchased at the door the day of the show, subject to availability. Tickets are non-transferable and may only be purchased directly from Common Chord.
*Reserved Seating*
All tickets to Club Shows are General Admission, with no guaranteed seating except for reserved tables. For most shows, the Redstone Room features tables and chairs throughout the room.
For guaranteed seating, a limited number of tables are available to be reserved. These may only be purchased in advance, and are sold separately from tickets. You will need to add your General Admission tickets AND your Reserved Tables to the cart for purchase. Tables seat up to four people.
Physical Accommodations: If you require seating or a reserved space due to health or physical needs, you will need to purchase your General Admission ticket first and then email feedback@commonchordqc.org to reserve up to 2 seats.
